Avalon Housing has been selected as one of the 2008 NOFA Homeless Initiatives Award Winners. The award falls under two categories - chronic homelessness and homeless families with children – in Michigan’s Campaign to End Homelessness. These funds will be critical for two new Avalon developments in 2008, and will add a total of 24 apartments to our community’s stock of permanent supportive housing.
