Get ready for Gardening with Grace 2008! Grace Shackman (the Grace in Gardening with Grace), and Adrienne O’Brien, horticulturalist extraordinaire at Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum and grower of the plants and flowers we put in each spring at our properties, and I toured Avalon Properties in early February. We looked at some of our newer developments on First and Third Streets, along with some old favorites like Division, Summit, and Huron Streets to see where new beds could go and how old beds changed. I swear I could see bright colored blooms and green leaves despite the snow and slush underfoot!
