Applications are now being accepted at The Grove at Veridian, Avalon’s new community on Platt Road in Ann Arbor. Please fill out this form to apply. The deadline to apply is Dec. 17, 2024. A printable PDF can be downloaded here.
Residents must earn less than 60% of area median income to qualify for a unit at The Grove at Veridian. See below for income levels allowed by size of household.
The Grove at Veridian has units ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedrooms. The rents for each size unit are also listed below. Twenty (20) units will be available through this application process.
We expect demand to be very high — eligible potential residents will be chosen by lottery if needed. Avalon will contact all applicants in January with updates on their status.

The income limits for eligibility for homes at The Grove at Veridian are:
- 1-person household: $50,220
- 2-person household: $57,360
- 3-person household: $64,560
- 4-person household: $71,770
- 5-person household: $77,460
- 6-person household: $83,220
- 7-person household: $88,920
- 8-person household: $94,680
Rents at The Grove at Veridian
The rents of the available units will be:
- 1-bedroom: $775/month (2 units available)
- 2-bedroom: $875/month (5 units available)
- 3-bedroom: $975/month (11 units available)
- 4-bedroom: $1,075/month (2 units available)
