There are a number of ways to volunteer with Avalon, depending on your interests and schedule.
Group Projects
Is your group looking for a service project? We welcome seasonal help, like cleanup and grounds work, including weeding and/or planting of native plants in our garden beds.
Food Pantry Volunteers
Help provide access to healthy food! Pantry volunteers work with Avalon’s staff and tenants on all aspects of our Pauline and Carrot Way pantries, including set up, food pick up and clean up. We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a 6-month minimum. Learn more here.
Finance /Admin Volunteers
Finance/Admin volunteers support Avalon by providing front desk coverage. They accept rent payments, answer/route phone calls and work on various data entry tasks. We look for volunteers who can commit to a 6-month minimum.
