Kickoff event for EV carshare service at Carrot Way set for May 30

A new electric vehicle carshare service is now located at Avalon Housing’s Carrot Way community in Ann Arbor. The service is operated by Mobility Development, and is available to residents of Avalon’s apartments and the general public.

Avalon and partners in the project are hosting a kickoff event to showcase the carshare system and the EV charging stations at the Avalon locations.

What: Demonstrations of the new EV carshare system, test drives, remarks from project leaders, and refreshments
When: Thursday, May 30, 2-4 p.m.
Where: Carrot Way Apartments, 31 Carrot Way, Ann Arbor
Who: Avalon residents and staff, community members, and local leaders are invited
Speakers: Aaron Cooper, Executive Director of Avalon Housing; and Richard Kosmacher, Senior Program Director, Midwest, Mobility Development
